Your First Visit
- After being greeted by a member of our staff you will be asked to fill out a Welcome To Our Office questionnaire. This form is important because it gives the doctor important preliminary information about your condition and past medical history.
- A member of our staff will bring you to an exam/consultation room. This is where you and the doctor will discuss your condition and any relevant medical history. Following this the doctor will perform a complete examination consisting of chiropractic, orthopedic, and neurological components.
- Based on the history you gave the doctor and your exam findings the doctor will now decide if you need x-rays taken to further evaluate your condition. If x-rays are indicated they will be taken in our office. This allows us to review your x-rays the same day (in most cases), start treatment sooner, and it saves you time.
- At this time the doctor will take time to review all the information from your patient information sheet, history, examination, and x-ray (if taken). The doctor uses all of this information to determine if Chiropractic care is the best treatment for you. If chiropractic care is deemed the best treatment for you the doctor will fully explain your problem, and describe the type of treatment you will receive. If for some reason it is determined that Chiropractic care is not the best treatment for you we will make every effort to make sure we help you find the medical professional that can best treat your problem.
- You will begin the recommended treatment.
